
Dr. Shamika Jones is an accomplished public health professional with over a decade of experience in research, data analysis, and project management. She holds a PhD in Health Services Policy and Management from the University of South Carolina and has led multidisciplinary teams in academic, consulting, government, and nonprofit settings. Her expertise lies in program evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and translating complex data into actionable insights, with a proven ability to drive impactful results for healthcare organizations and public health initiatives.
As the founder of Public Health Logic LLC, Dr. Jones is dedicated to empowering organizations through tailored research, evaluation, and strategic planning services. Drawing on her passion for improving healthcare delivery and equity, she leverages evidence-based approaches to address health disparities and enhance patient outcomes. With a Master’s in Health Policy and Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Promotion from Georgia Southern University, Dr. Jones is driven by a mission to leverage evidence-based approaches to advance public health and improve access to healthcare.

Dr. Jones was recently selected by the Georgia Southern Network of Black Alumni to be featured in 28 Days of Black History in 2026.
